Dialog in 7 per cent plus year-over-year growth despite tough economic environment

“The market is challenging and tough but we are doing good and we have been able to register a 7 percent year on- year growth, which is a significant achievement in this scenario, Group-Chief Executive Officer, Dialog Axiata Plc Dr Hans Wijeyasuriya told The Island Financial Review at a function Wednesday at the Dialog head office in Colombo that announced the launch of Cumulus, its cloud services portfolio. The event also marked the establishment of the nations leading business solutions hub service for the SME sector.

He said that they are quite confident and positive of the future and will always introduce state-of-the art technology to the country.

Group Chief Officer for Dialog Enterprises Jeremy Huxtable said the launch of Cumulus, Dialogs local Cloud platform, builds on the investments that have already been made in data centers and connectivity.

He said that services they provide are cost effective, easy to use and will support the growth of Sri Lankas business community. “With the support of our partners in this project we are able to deliver world class IT services at a fraction of todays cost, Huxtable added.

“The programme yet again emphasizes Dialogs commitment to Sri Lankan businesses and entrepreneurs and has invested US $ 175 million for infrastructure development to provide a quality service, he said.
